Wildlife Health

Despite different research involving collection of animal skin andblood, no major and real case of wildlife health has been identified. Contactbetween wildlife, domestic livestock and human are limited except for aquaticwild species, since people and domestic livestock are using the same river fortheir everyday needs. A potential risk of aquatic invasive species may threatenthe landscape, but no assessment related to wildlife health has been run. Nospecific strategy to address the issue has been suggested in the coming years.However, WCS is interested in precautionary principles in terms of wildlifehealth.
